European Union (EU)
Prices displayed for customers within the European Union include applicable VAT.
Customers outside the European Union
All orders shipped outside the European Union are sold tax-free, meaning that the 24% Greek VAT is automatically removed from the final price displayed at checkout.
We believe in complete transparency, which is why our international prices are shown without European VAT. While customs charges vary depending on the value of the order and local regulations, many of our clients find that the VAT savings help offset these costs.
Please note that orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties, customs fees, local taxes, and carrier charges determined by the destination country’s customs and local authorities. These charges are not included in our prices and, if applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.
United States
Orders are shipped from the European Union and prices displayed on our website are VAT-free (Greek VAT is 24%).
Import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and carrier charges may apply upon arrival in the United States and typically range between 10%–20% of the order value.
Your shipping carrier will contact you directly to arrange payment of any applicable charges before your order can be released and delivered.
United Kingdom
Following Brexit, and as of 01/01/2021, all UK orders are shipped tax-free. Prices displayed on our website for UK customers do not include VAT (Greek VAT is 24%; UK VAT is currently 20%).
Due to changes in UK customs regulations, VAT and any applicable import charges are collected by UK authorities once your order arrives in the United Kingdom.
Your shipping carrier (DHL) will contact you to arrange payment before your order can be released and delivered.
Rest of world
Orders are shipped from the European Union and prices displayed on our website are VAT-free (Greek VAT is 24%).
Local duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and carrier charges may apply upon arrival in your country and are the responsibility of the recipient.
All orders are delivered using the shipping methods provided by this website. We offer free shipping on all orders for Europe over €350 and for Rest of World over €500. You will receive a confirmation email from our website as soon as you have placed your order. You will then be notified via e-mail to your registered e-mail address when your order has been dispatched with tracking information for your package. If an order is placed on national holidays or weekends, it will be processed on the following working day.
We will make every possible effort to dispatch items within 2-5 working days, however we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
All our prices include the European VAT. All orders with shipping address located outside the EU are exempt of this tax and your tax discount will be calculated automatically at checkout.
All our products are shipped from Greece. If you place an order and the shipping address provided is located outside the EU, then please keep in mind that import duties and taxes may incur by the local custom office upon the package’s arrival at the airport. We cannot determine beforehand what these duties will entail for each territory. For further information please contact your local tax authority.

Free shipping applies to standard delivery within serviced and accessible locations.
Please note that for remote, hard-to-reach, or non-standard delivery areas, additional shipping charges may apply due to increased courier costs. In such cases, any extra charges will be communicated prior to shipment.

Due to fluctuations in silver prices and the increasing rarity of natural pearls, prices may be adjusted over time.
Any price variation reflects our ongoing commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and responsibly sources materials.
RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWA
Standard Collection
Customers purchasing through our online store have the right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving their order, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, customers must notify Christiana Kafa Jewelry of their decision within the applicable period, either by email or by completing our Withdrawal Form.
Following notification, the item must be shipped back within fourteen (14) calendar days.
Product Condition & Handling
Our jewelry is carefully handcrafted, often incorporating delicate materials such as freshwater pearls, precious metals and textile cords.
Customers may inspect and try on their jewelry only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and suitability, as they would in a physical jewelry boutique.
Any handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, including extended wear, may result in diminished value.
Christiana Kafa Jewelry reserves the right to assess and document any reduction in value resulting from such handling and to seek the corresponding compensation in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
We recommend returning all jewelry in its original packaging, together with its accompanying accessories and documentation, carefully protected against damage during transit.
Custom & Personalized Orders
Jewelry manufactured according to individual customer specifications or clearly personalized is excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, where permitted by applicable law.
This may include individually commissioned designs, personalized engravings and pieces created to unique customer specifications.
Any applicable exclusion will be clearly communicated before the order is placed.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning items following a change of mind, provided they have been informed of this obligation before purchase.
We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service appropriate to the value of the jewelry.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise expressly agreed without additional cost to the customer.
Refunds include the purchase price and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) calendar days from the date we are informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or the customer has provided evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Any legally justified reduction in value resulting from excessive handling will be assessed and communicated to the customer.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
Nothing in this policy affects customers’ statutory rights concerning defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products. Such cases will be handled separately in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Customs, Duties & Refused Deliveries
For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply depending on the destination country. These charges are determined by the local customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer.
If a customer refuses to pay customs duties or import taxes and the package is returned to us, the original shipping costs and any return shipping or customs charges incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.
In cases where free shipping was applied to the order, the actual shipping cost incurred by us will be deducted from the refund.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

On sale items
Only regular priced items may be returned / refunded. We do not accept returns on items that are on sale.
